VAT GROUP in Haag, St. Gallen, Switzerland invites motivated students and graduates to work on the development and verification of advanced actuator control algorithms for semiconductor production equipment.

The project offers hands-on industrial experience, MATLAB & Simulink testing, and collaboration across international teams; a thesis or internship friendly program with a focus on control theory and system modelling.

What You Will Explore

The very demanding production processes in the semiconductor industry require precisely regulated process conditions in the vacuum chamber to ensure a consistent quality of the semiconductor products (i.e. microchips). The goal of this work is to build up a test environment to simulate and verify new actuator control algorithms used in products/tools for the semiconductor industry.

Possible Work Packages Are

• Implementation of developed algorithms with Matlab & Simulink
