N/A is seeking a Biospecimen Specialist to manage end-to-end biorepository activities and ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, diligent, and capable of delivering accurate, timely specimen deliverables.

The role requires a Life Sciences degree with hands-on experience handling specimens, familiarity with LIMS, and strong English communication (B2+). Swiss work permit or citizenship is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences with 1–3 years relevant experience in sample acquisition, data management, biobanking or related area.
• Life science Master’s degree or equivalent, some experience in sample acquisition, data management, biobanking or related area.

Aufgaben

• Manage and perform biological material processing, registration, shipment, returns, verification activities, retrievals, and inventory searches in a validated environment.
• Take accountability for end-to-end project management and biorepository management activities to fulfill customer specimen requests.
• Collaborate with relevant permitting agencies, import/export compliance, and local Safety and Biorepository Teams to comply with permit requirements.
• Maintains compliance with BAM processes, including collection and maintenance of documentation, receipt and review of sample data to ensure accurate and complete sample and data set.
• Assumes responsibility for accuracy, quality, and timeliness of work within supported projects and responds to changing priorities.
• Effectively interface with internal and external stakeholders to establish timelines and meet defined project goals.
• Maintain information in a validated laboratory information management system compliant with GxP principles and standards.
