Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking a seasoned Team Head Emerging Markets Investment Advisory in Zürich to lead a top-tier advisory team focused on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients from Emerging Markets. You will serve as the strategic partner to Relationship Managers, crafting sophisticated, culturally attuned investment strategies and maintaining executive-level client engagement.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CFA and/ or additional certifications such as CAIA are highly valued.
• CWMA Holder.
• Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience in private banking or wealth management, ideally with exposure to cross-border advisor
• Proven track record in leading investment advisory teams, preferably in a global or multi-jurisdictional setting
• Similar experience within a top tier private bank covering UHNW and/or GFO
• Deep understanding of locals’ cultural nuances and business practices, with familiarity with Emerging Markets (MENA, Asia, Southern Europe)

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of investment advisors specialising in Emerging client coverage.
• Define performance targets, monitor metrics, and implement feedback mechanisms.
• Collaborate on recruitment, succession planning, and capability-building.
• Serve as lead advisor for top-tier Emerging clients and prospects.
• Conduct portfolio diagnostics, asset allocation reviews, and scenario analyses.
• Drive thematic idea generation across asset classes.
• EnsureMiFID II suitability and robust documentation.
