Job summary

VF Corporation in Stabio, Switzerland is seeking an EMEA Indirect Tax Senior Specialist to join our Tax team. You will ensure accurate VAT compliance across multiple countries and contribute to the transformation of the Tax function, balancing operational oversight with data quality and automation.

You will coordinate with external advisors and SSC/BPO teams, review data, support month-end close, and help maintain an audit-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax.
• Strong understanding of VAT principles.
• 3+ years of experience in VAT, accounting, or financial reporting.
• Experience in an international environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and SAP.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate VAT return processes with external advisors.
• Oversee VAT activities by SSC or BPO teams.
• Review VAT data and monthly reconciliations for discrepancies.
• Support tax accounting during month-end and year-end close.
• Maintain audit trails and document controls.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Controllership, AP/AR to improve VAT processes.
