Job summary

Scholar Rock, Inc. is seeking an experienced Patient Advocacy & Corporate Communications Lead for EMEA to drive integrated patient advocacy and communications strategies across the region, beginning with SMA and expanding to FSHD as milestones evolve.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of the rare neuromuscular disease landscape. You will partner with Medical Affairs, Global Communications, Market Access, and Regulatory teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Communications, Public Affairs, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated patient advocacy strategies for EMEA, starting with SMA and expanding to FSHD.
• Lead corporate and product communications, executive visibility, disease awareness, and internal communications.
• Engage SMA community and patient advocates to build trust and align with patient-first values.
• Establish authentic relationships with patient organizations and advocate leaders across EMEA.
