SICPA SA in Switzerland is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the Machine-Readable Features Laboratory, developing, integrating, validating, and maintaining embedded software for security and traceability systems.

You will work across RTOS, embedded Linux, SoC platforms, and collaborate with electronics, optics, chemistry, data science, and software engineering to move from concept to deployment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Embedded Systems.
• Strong C/C++ programming for embedded applications.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded Linux environments.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, debugging, and version control systems.
• Familiarity with SoC architectures and industrial embedded systems integration.
• Ability to use standard engineering tools for development, versioning, and documentation.
• Proactive, analytical, and capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded software applications in C/C++ for real-time and Linux-based platforms.
• Design software for RTOS, embedded Linux, microcontrollers, SoC platforms.
• Support integration with electronics, optics, and sensor subsystems.
• Perform software testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability.
• Document requirements, design specs, tests, and maintenance procedures.
• Participate in technical reviews and continuous improvement in multidisciplinary teams.
