Mettler Toledo AG in Switzerland is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to help advance RXE and CSS product lines. You will develop and commission embedded software for new platforms, evaluate microprocessors, and drive modernization across product lifecycles.

Based at our Synthesis Workstations HQ in Nänikon near Zurich, you will collaborate with software, electronics, and mechanical engineering teams to deliver future-oriented inspection and quality assurance solutions.

Aufgaben

• Develop and commission embedded software for new products and platforms.
• Evaluate suitable microprocessors and embedded technologies for future developments.
• Maintain, extend, and update existing products throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Contribute to the migration of existing products to modern software platforms.
• Maintain and further develop Debian Linux kernels and drivers when required.
• Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate closely with software, electronics, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Support service, production, and assembly teams with technical inquiries.
• Actively contribute ideas to the continuous improvement of development processes.
