Sonova Group is seeking a Practical Trainee in Embedded Software Development & Python. You will assist in developing and integrating embedded software for ASIC testing in a hands‑on, industrial environment.

You will work closely with experienced engineers on hardware communication, USB/I2C interfaces, and test automation, gaining exposure to ASIC testing infrastructure and software development processes in a global hearing health company.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Software Engineering.
• Basic experience with embedded software development and hardware communication.
• Familiarity with USB and I2C protocols; exposure to Python is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support development and integration of embedded software for ASIC testing.
• Develop Python wrappers and automation scripts for hardware interaction.
• Assist with USB driver integration and test framework enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineers on testing infrastructure and documentation.
• Contribute to power management and interrupt handling improvements.
• Assist with CI pipeline integration and testing processes.
