Job summary

Hamilton Medical seeks a QA/Test Engineer to develop and maintain test cases for embedded devices, plan and execute integration and system tests, and verify fixes with developers. You will document tests, ensure traceability, and contribute to test automation while collaborating with global development and quality teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, hands-on testing of embedded hardware/software, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related engineering discipline
• Experience in testing embedded devices
• Ability to understand requirements and translate them into effective tests
• Passion for systematic testing, finding defects, and improving software quality
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Basic programming skills in an object-oriented language (e.g. C++)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with a minimum proficiency of B2

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test cases based on software requirements
• Plan and execute integration, system, and exploratory tests
• Analyze test results, document defects, and verify fixes with developers
• Create and maintain test documentation in accordance with applicable standards
• Ensure adequate test coverage and clear traceability
• Contribute to test automation and maintain test environments
• Keep existing tests reliable and effective through ongoing improvement
• Improve testing methods and close collaboration with international development and quality teams
