Job summary
Viiala SA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement firmware for bikes, including control units and the embedded Linux platform behind connected features. You will work on lab bring-up, integration, and production readiness, form cross-functional collaborations, and help ensure reliability across hardware, software, and connectivity.
The role requires a strong background in embedded C/C++, distributed systems, and experience with Zephyr RTOS or similar RTOS environments,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical/computer engineering or similar.
- At least five years of hands-on embedded development in C/C++, ideally in automotive, e-mobility or other series-produced products.
Responsibilities
- Turn system requirements into embedded software designs and help build a robust architecture across the bike's control units.
- Implement system-level functions in C/C++ for the bike and its connected features.
- Bring up new boards and components from first power-on in the lab to the complete bike.
