Zusammenfassung

Belimo is seeking a senior engineer to lead the technical delivery of embedded software for innovative products in Zürich. You will guide cross‑functional teams from requirements through to release, ensuring high‑quality software solutions are developed, integrated, and deployed.

You will translate complex requirements into structured software architectures, drive collaboration with I&V, Sensing, and Hardware teams, and manage technical risks.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in embedded software development or a similar technical software environment.
• Proven experience planning, estimating, and monitoring software development activities within project‑based environments.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into structured software deliverables and technical solutions.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional engineering teams and driving technical alignment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions despite incomplete information.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Experience working with external development partners or nearshore teams is an advantage.

• Coordinate and guide software developers to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.

• Drive the integration of software solutions into broader digital ecosystems, including cloud services, tools, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with Integration & Verification (I&V), Sensing, Hardware, and other engineering teams.
• Ensure effective utilization and integration of embedded platform capabilities, such as RTOS and MATLAB/Simulink frameworks.
• Identify and proactively manage technical risks, dependencies, and resource conflicts.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and key milestones to stakeholders, product owners, and management.
