Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Several years of embedded software development experience using C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with Git, debugging, testing, and embedded software development tools.
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Ethernet, DeviceNet, or CC-Link.
• Experience contributing to or leading software architecture activities and promoting software engineering best practices.
• Fluent in English; German is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solution concepts based on customer requirements.
• Develop and customize embedded firmware for mechatronic components, including new features and functionality.
• Contribute to software architecture and ensure the application of design principles and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing engineering processes, tools, and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Apply state-of-the-art technologies to achieve project objectives and improve product performance.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary and globally distributed teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Support debugging, testing, and validation activities to ensure high-quality firmware solutions.
