Zusammenfassung

Kepstronic is seeking an Embedded Control Systems Engineer to design and integrate embedded electronic systems for real-time control. You will work on bare-metal software, FPGA/SoC integration and hardware debugging in a multi-disciplinary team.

The role covers device drivers, real-time control algorithms, signal integrity, schematics review and prototype bring-up. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and embedded tools.

Qualifikationen

• Strong practical experience in embedded systems development.
• Bare-metal embedded C/C++ development.
• Practical experience with FPGA or SoC platforms.
• Verilog or VHDL development experience.
• Experience with FPGA development tools such as Vivado.
• Understanding of FPGA-processor integration.
• Experience integrating communication interfaces, sensors and external hardware.
• Strong understanding of digital electronics and physical interface circuits.
• Ability to read and review electronic schematics.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and laboratory equipment.
• Understanding of feedback control systems, sampling rates, latency and real-time execution.
• Ability to diagnose problems across embedded software, programmable logic, transceivers and external electronics.

• Develop embedded C/C++ software and low-level hardware drivers
• Develop and debug Verilog/VHDL modules
• Integrate FPGA/SoC programmable logic with processor-based software
• Implement interfaces such as CAN, RS-422/RS-485, UART, SPI, I2C and Ethernet
• Connect and integrate sensors, actuators and external electronic devices
• Implement reliable data exchange, buffering, synchronization and error handling
• Integrate real-time control algorithms into embedded platforms
• Ensure deterministic execution, timing and data acquisition for control applications
• Bring up and debug prototype hardware
• Debug interfaces at both electrical-signal and software levels
• Use oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to verify signal levels, timing and signal integrity
• Read schematics and electronic component datasheets
• Define requirements for transceivers, termination, isolation, filtering and electrical protection
• Develop simple interface and adapter circuits when required
• Prepare requirements for PCB designers and review schematics and PCB designs
