Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to lead on-site electrical design, optimization, and lifecycle support for critical process systems. You will drive CAPEX projects, collaborate with operations, maintenance, and automation teams, and manage full lifecycle execution from feasibility to handover.
The role requires hands-on experience in LV power systems, switchgear, VFDs, UPS, and trace heating, with fluency in German and English, and a strong safety mindset.
Drive the electrical infrastructure and drive technology behind next-generation biotech manufacturing in our state-of-the-art Visp facility. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will deliver hands‑on design, optimization, and lifecycle troubleshooting for critical process manufacturing systems.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Contract Duration: 12 months
Hours: 41 hours per week
