EF Language Abroad, based in Switzerland, Zürich, seeks an Editorial Project Manager to lead the production of print marketing materials, coordinating designers and writers to ensure timely delivery from brief to final output.
This role requires 3–4 years in editorial project management, a meticulous eye for detail, and strong communication across international teams; it is an in-office position with opportunities to influence brand quality.
We're looking for an Editorial Project Manager to join our in-house creative studio.
In this role, you'll oversee the day to day production of print marketing projects; ensuring a smooth, efficient, and timely content creation process and production of our offline marketing materials and smaller adhoc projects.
Key responsibilities include pushing print marketing projects to completion, maintaining high quality standards, and coordinating the efforts of designers and copywriters to tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a background in both editorial and project management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain integrated project plans, define project scope, objectives, and timelines. Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of work for brochures, sales letters, flyers, supplementary materials and adhoc offline marketing projects from brief to delivery.
Create and maintain project timelines, identify potential delays across dependecies including editorial, creative, production, translation, markets etc. and proactively address issues to keep projects on schedule.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, and team members, ensuring clear communication, with detailed follow‑up on information gathering and updates. Provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns or feedback.
Work closely with the entire creative studio, including copywriters, designers, digital teams, to align projects with the content strategy and goals. Coordinate the creation, editing, and proofreading of written content ensuring it meets both stakeholder and company goals.
Implement quality control measures to ensure that all content is error‑free and aligns with the company's product information and brand guidelines. Identify risks early, maintain change logs, manage late requests, and elevate matters that can affect scope, quality, budget, or delivery.
Coordinate the work of the creative studio, flagging capacity risks and competing priorities. Work closely with the Print Production Manager and Print Marketing Director to align editorial and production schedules.
