Job summary

The Small Animal University Hospital of the Vetsuisse Faculty in Bern is offering a structured ECVN neurology residency. You will work with two neurologists and a broad team of specialists across anesthesia, imaging, internal medicine, emergency and surgery.

Participation includes clinical rounds, teaching students and interns, and residency research projects, with rotations to gain credentialing and exposure to diverse disciplines in a top-tier Swiss facility.

Qualifications

• Holds a veterinary degree.
• Two years of general practice experience and/or completed rotating/specialty internship.
• Fluent in English, German and French (basic knowledge of a third language required).
• Ideally some exposure to neurology.
• Ready to join emergency duty, teaching and academic activities.

Responsibilities

• Clinical time under supervision with daily patient care, consultations, diagnostic procedures and neurosurgeries.
• Off-clinic time includes rotations and residency research, with holidays and international congress participation.
