Job summary

Takeda Switzerland in Zurich seeks a Group Head, Regulatory Affairs – Eastern Europe to lead the LOC RA Heads and ensure a single, aligned regulatory voice across the cluster, in line with EU and global strategy.

You will build a high-performing, cross-country team; drive regulatory strategy, lifecycle management, and compliance; partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Quality to enable patient access and successful launches while maintaining audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of regulatory affairs experience in pharma/biopharma.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing multi-country teams.
• Excellent English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Eastern Europe Regulatory Affairs organization.
• Translate European and global Regulatory Affairs strategy into a group regulatory plan across affiliates.
• Represent the group in regional regulatory strategy forums and licensing decisions.
• Ensure a consistent regulatory approach across the group with cross-functional partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with national authorities and industry bodies.
• Drive harmonization of processes, roles, and quality standards across RA.
• Oversee regulatory lifecycle management, including registrations, variations, and labeling.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness per EU and local laws.
• Lead regulatory intelligence and risk mitigation while planning budgets.
