Vontobel Asset Management, Inc. invites you to join its 6-month Early Careers Internship Program for External Asset Managers in Zurich.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in finance, wealth management, and international market development while working with a dynamic team. You will design and implement international market initiatives, research markets, prepare management materials, and support cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in finance, technology, or related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German/French/Italian is a plus.
• Valid work permit for the location.

Responsibilities

• Support international market development initiatives and potential marketing activities.
• Conduct market and competitor research.
• Prepare management presentations and business materials.
• Document and optimize processes, especially for the US & Latam markets.
• Coordinate and track strategic initiatives across international EAM markets.

Over 6 months, starting on 1 March 2027, you'll gain hands‑on experience and insights into the financial industry while building lasting connections in a globally recognized investment firm.

What would your role be?

As part of the internship, you will:

• Supporting the design and implementation of international market development initiatives, including potential marketing activities.
• Conducting market and competitor research.
• Preparing management presentations and business materials.
• Documenting and optimizing business processes, particularly for the US & Latam market.
• Coordinating and tracking strategic initiatives across international EAM markets
• Collaborate across teams, particularly with Business Management and Market Management.
• Gain exposure to a wide range of front‑office activities.

What you need to apply

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, or graduated within the last two years, in finance, technology or a related field. You have a genuine interest in the financial sector. You are fluent in English, written and spoken. German, French or Italian is a plus. You hold a valid work permit for the location you are applying to.
