Zusammenfassung

Fortil, an international engineering group, is seeking a Junior Systems Test Engineer (M/F) in Lausanne to join a multidisciplinary R&D team. You will test optical, RF, optomechanical and HW/SW components, initially under supervision, and progressively lead small test campaigns.

You will work in cleanroom and lab environments, prepare advanced test setups, analyze results, and contribute to technical reviews and reports.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is required.
• Strong interest in experimental testing and multidisciplinary system integration.
• Knowledge or experience in satellite communications, lasers, optical systems, or optomechanics is desirable.
• Experience with test automation and Python is a plus.
• Ability to prepare and operate experimental test setups and report findings clearly.

Aufgaben

• Execute predefined test campaigns on components and subsystems in cleanroom and field environments.
• Prepare, assemble and operate advanced experimental test setups.
• Work with optical, optomechanical, RF, electronic and software-based instrumentation.
• Perform testing and validation on optical and RF components and HW/SW subsystems.
• Participate in subsystem integration and end-to-end testing activities.
• Analyse test results against internal requirements and supplier documentation.
• Produce clear test and validation reports and support demonstrators.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams around the world.
