EPAM Systems in Zürich, Switzerland, is seeking a Dynatrace System Engineer – Big Data for a hybrid role. You will design and implement observability solutions to ensure performance, availability, and reliability of large-scale Big Data platforms, and help drive operational excellence.

You will monitor, analyze, and optimize across Trino, Kubernetes, and Kafka; develop dashboards and alerts; and collaborate with platform, data, and operations teams to strengthen stability.

Qualifikationen

• Proven hands-on experience with Dynatrace administration and observability practices.
• Strong background in Big Data environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring and performance tuning for Trino, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Ability to apply proactive monitoring to prevent incidents.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end monitoring and observability solutions using Dynatrace.
• Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and availability across Big Data environments (Trino, Kubernetes, Kafka).
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and actionable insights for operational efficiency.
• Apply proactive monitoring strategies to detect risks early and prevent incidents.
• Perform performance analysis, capacity planning, and root cause investigations.
