San Diego Community College District – People, Culture, and Technology (HR) Division is seeking adjunct DSPS counselors to join the district-wide pool for college and continuing education assignments. The role supports students with disabilities through transition, counseling, and coordination of services.

Selected candidates will provide case management, advisement, and collaboration with campus offices to facilitate student success, while adhering to district standards and documentation

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related fields as listed.
• Alternate master’s degree paths with required coursework in counseling or related areas.
• Equivalent qualification accepted if criteria are met.

Aufgaben

• Partner with feeder schools to discuss transition and complete early intakes for DSPS services.
• Case management of the cohort of students for transition and course advisement.
• Follow up each term regarding services, campus supports, and community supports.
• Partner with relevant agencies and campus offices to support students from admission to employment.
• Data collection on participating students for DSPS and CAEP.
