Job summary

Sunflower Labs is seeking a hands-on Electronics Engineer to design, build and test electronics for next-generation drone and base station hardware. You will own smaller PCB assemblies and flex circuits from requirements to validation, collaborating with firmware, mechanical and production teams to ensure robust integration.

Required degree and hands-on hardware experience, proficiency with Altium Designer, and experience with CAN/I2C interfaces.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field.
  • Experience developing electronic hardware from circuit design through PCB bring-up and production support.
  • Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout with Altium Designer.
  • Practical experience with CAN and I²C interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Own development and improvement of small PCB assemblies and flex circuits from design through bring-up and validation.
  • Design circuits, lay out PCBs, select components, and maintain schematics and BOMs.
  • Create and maintain cable drawings and connector specs for prototypes.
  • Bring up, measure and debug prototype boards; verify performance against requirements.
  • Develop test setups and procedures to validate designs and support production testing.
