Job summary

Accelleron is seeking a Division Controller & Commercial Manager High Speed (m/f/d) (80-100%) to act as a strategic finance partner for the High Speed Division. You will drive profitability, ensure financial transparency, and lead planning, forecasting, and reporting across a global business.

Reporting to the CFO, you will collaborate with Operations, Technical Development in Europe, the US, and China, champion cost optimization, lifecycle profitability insights, and strengthen internal controls

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in controlling, planning or internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent business partnering and communication across a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute High Speed strategy aligned with financial targets.
• Own five-year planning, budgeting and forecasting for the High Speed Division globally.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Lead the monthly financial performance review with the Division President and key drivers.
• Ensure transparency on customer, product and lifecycle profitability and provide actionable insights.
• Drive cost and working capital performance across the Division.
• Act as financial business partner for strategic initiatives and major development projects.
• Partner on commercial and financial risk management and escalation mechanisms.
• Ensure effective financial governance and internal controls including Table of Authority.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of financial processes and reporting.
• Contribute to the division's leadership team and cross-divisional finance initiatives.

In this role, you will serve as a strategic Finance Business Partner for the High Speed Division, supporting the Division President and Leadership Team in driving profitable growth, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making across a global business. Working closely with stakeholders across , Operations, and Technical Development in Europe, the US, and China, you will ensure financial transparency, performance management, and value creation while translating business insights into impactful actions. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will lead planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance processes, while actively contributing to the division's strategic development and future growth.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the definition and execution of the High Speed strategy, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and financial targets.
• Own the strategic five-year planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the High Speed Division globally.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Lead the monthly financial performance review with the Division President, providing transparency on key P&L and operational performance drivers.
• Ensure transparency on customer, product and lifecycle profitability and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Drive cost and working capital performance across the Division and initiate corrective actions where required.
• Act as financial business partner for strategic initiatives, investments and major development projects, including active participation in business cases, design reviews and steering committees.
• Partner with on commercial and financial risk management, including risk reviews, insurance claims and escalation mechanisms.
• Ensure effective financial governance and internal controls, including implementation and adherence to the Table of Authority.
• Drive continuous innovation and improvement, simplification and standardization of financial processes and reporting.
• Actively contribute to the strategic development of the High Speed division as member of the Division’s Leadership Team
• Contribute to cross-divisional and Group Finance initiatives, supporting the development of the global Finance function.

• Strong financial background with expertise in controlling, planning and internal controls
