Zusammenfassung

UN Secretariat in Geneva seeks a Director for the Division of Programme Support (DPS) to lead cross‑cutting services including finance, HR, central support and IT. You will shape work programs, guide audits, and report to intergovernmental bodies while driving change, workforce planning and policy alignment across the division.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree in business/public administration, finance, accounting, law, or social sciences.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in administration, budget, finance, HR, logistics, IT, or related fields.
• At least 10 years at the international level and 5 years in senior management.
• Desirable experience supervising large HR operations and liaising with intergovernmental bodies. Languages: English required; French desirable.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage DPS, overseeing work program and coordinating finance, HR, central support services and IT.
• Coordinate audit and oversight functions and prepare reports for intergovernmental bodies.
• Provide strategic advice on resource allocation and HR strategy, including workforce planning.
• Drive change management to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
• Recruit, develop, and train staff within DPS and represent the division in UN inter‑agency forums.
