Job summary

Wuxi Apptec, Inc. in Couvet, Switzerland seeks an Associate Director/Director of New Product Introduction to lead tech transfer for late-stage and commercial drug products. You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure OTIF execution and mentor the NPI group to meet strategic site goals.

The role requires 10–15+ years in pharma, leadership experience, and deep DP process knowledge, with fluent English and regulatory know-how to support inspections and launch readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
• 10–15+ years in Technical Operations, R&D, MS&T or NPI management.
• 3+ years of leadership focused on Drug Product processes and scale-up.
• Deep knowledge of late-phase and commercial drug product manufacturing requirements.
• Fluent in English with strong regulatory awareness (FDA/EMA) and cGMPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technology transfer from development or client sites to the Couvet facility.
• Ensure OTIF execution for late-phase and commercial drug products.
• Mentor the NPI team and align matrix teams on KPIs and priorities.
• Support validation strategy (PPQ), CPV and commercial launch readiness.
• Act as SME during inspections to ensure regulatory readiness.
