Nestlé Research is seeking a Digital Food Safety Early Warning Associate Specialist to advance proactive detection of food safety issues. You will strengthen evaluation of external scientific signals and evolve digital early warning systems, collaborating with safety, quality, research, technology, and data partners.

Qualifications

• Basic chemistry knowledge related to contaminants and their emergence in food safety.
• Ability to apply food safety and quality processes to supply chains and incidents.
• Experience or aptitude in using data and digital tools for risk assessment and early warning decisions.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen proactive food safety early warning by scouting and evaluating emerging issues across priority contaminant areas.
• Identify and assess internal and external data sources to improve detection and prioritization of early signals.
• Contribute to evaluating and deploying digital technologies for data-driven detection of emerging topics.
• Test prototypes to transform early warning processes into scalable digital solutions.
• Collaborate with researchers, technologists, and business teams to protect consumers.
• Deliver project activities with focus and follow-through to support impactful decisions.
