Job summary

Roche is seeking a Head of Diagnostics Strategy to lead the divisional strategy in collaboration with Business Areas and Global Functions. You will shape long-range priorities and the operating model to enable growth and innovative solutions across the Diagnostics portfolio.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive strategic initiatives, coordinate with executives, and guide a high-caliber team across geographies, with a focus on delivering clear, measurable outcomes for the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive multidisciplinary work experience in diagnostics/pharma/biotech.
• Veritable business experience in the healthcare industry (Pharma/Diagnostics).
• Post-graduate degree in finance, business, or life sciences; MBA preferred.
• Proven track record in corporate strategy development.
• Experience with large-scale business planning and metrics.
• Ability to lead diverse teams across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the longer-range strategy for Diagnostics in partnership with key stakeholders across Roche.
• Own the development of divisional priorities and operating model; drive the planning process.
• Architect and lead divisional strategic initiatives and related planning.
• Lead and nurture a diverse team of strategy experts to grow Diagnostics' market position.
• Coach and develop talent across the Roche Group.
