Job summary

Fincons Group, in Lugano, seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to deploy and configure Java/Spring Boot applications within CI/CD pipelines for a banking project. You will work at the intersection of development and operations, shaping automation, reliability, and scalability of deployments.

You will collaborate with global teams, optimize pipelines, and ensure secure, fast delivery of services. English proficiency and strong Linux/DevOps fundamentals are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience deploying and configuring Java/Spring Boot web applications in CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in core DevOps tools, such as GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab etc.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Solid Linux know-how and proficiency in Unix Shell scripting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web applications.
• Manage and support the runtime environment of Java/Spring Boot microservices in containerized or virtualized environments.
• Monitor performance and health with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues across dev, staging, and production.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless delivery pipelines.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with international teams.
