Job summary

Fincons Group in Lugano, Switzerland, is seeking PL/SQL Developers with banking experience to join full-time projects in Financial Services. You will work on designing, developing and maintaining robust solutions in a dynamic international environment.

Collaborating with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and engineers, you will implement features, analyse requirements and ensure timely delivery on complex banking projects. Proficiency in Italian and English is required.

Qualifications

• Scientific degree / master in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in the Banking sector.
• Solid PL/SQL development background.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse customer requests and translate them into structured requirements.
• Design, develop, document and maintain solutions within the team’s scope.
• Work on implementation and testing of newly built functionalities.
• Analyse and manage customer issues, coordinate testing and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, BAs and engineers.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet project specifications and timelines.

Job Overview:

For our Lugano Branch we are searching for professionals to be included in our organization. In particular, we are looking for PL/SQL Developers with experience in the Banking sector to be part on full-time mode of innovative and international projects in Financial Services area.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review and analyse customer requests and processes, transform them into structured requirements, evaluate possible scenarios and recommend the best possible business and IT solutions
• Design, develop, document and maintain thought‑out solutions within the team’s responsibility
• Work on implementation and testing ofnewly built functionalities
• Analysis and management of customer issues, manage client interaction during testing phase, taking care of bug fixing and potential change requests
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, business analysts, and other software engineers
• Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet project specifications and timelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Scientific degree / master, preferably in computer science, engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in the Banking sector
• Solid experience in PL/SQL development
• Proven ability to analyze technical requirements and deliver robust, maintainable solutions
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards (MT and/or MX) is a strong plus
• Java / J2EE programming skills would be anadvantage
• Understanding of ETL processes, Database Management Systems, Relational databases and SQL is a plus
• Good command of spoken and written Italian and English is mandatory
