Job summary

Namespace Labs is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure that runs customer builds, tests, and CI jobs. You will optimize compute, memory, storage, and networking, while automating provisioning, deployment, scaling, and recovery across our fleet.

You will build observability, alerting, and incident response processes to detect and resolve issues before customers are affected, drive capacity planning and cost efficiency, and

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Linux, networking and storage.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with observability tooling and on-call rotations.
• Strong focus on performance and measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure that runs every customer’s build, test, and CI job.
• Optimize performance across compute, memory, storage, and networking.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, scaling, and recovery across our fleet.
• Build observability, alerting, and incident response processes that identify and resolve issues before they affect customers.
• Drive capacity planning and cost efficiency to keep infrastructure fast and cost-effective.
• Collaborate closely with product engineers to ship new capabilities quickly and safely.
