Job summary

Auterion is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our Web Apps team in our Zürich office. You will own cloud infrastructure, automate pipelines, monitor services, and ensure security and cost-efficiency across the stack.

The role requires strong AWS experience, IaC with Terraform, and a drive to optimize performance while operating in a polyglot environment (Node, Python, Rust, C++). You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Strong AWS core services knowledge.
• Production IaC with Terraform experience.
• Docker and container orchestration expertise.
• CI/CD pipelines experience (GoCD & GitHub Actions).
• Monitoring with Datadog / New Relic / Prometheus.
• Polyglot tech stack exposure (Node, Python, C++, Rust).
• SOC2 compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, migrate, and scale AWS infrastructure (Terraform, EC2, ECS).
• Build/deploy pipelines with GoCD and GitHub Actions for polyglot services.
• Manage Docker images and ECS orchestration across environments.
• Implement and monitor metrics, logs, alerts (Datadog).
• Own infrastructure SOC2 compliance.
• Analyze usage to reduce AWS costs without sacrificing performance.
• Improve integrations with 3rd party services.
• Audit and improve security of public/private endpoints.
