Die Schweizerische Post AG is seeking a DevOps Engineer for AI-First development to lead a greenfield AWS platform with AI agents from day one. You will design the technical direction, review AI outputs, and own what goes live, integrating with partners and internal systems.

The role emphasizes building a cloud-native transfer platform, implementing IaC with Terraform/CDK, and ensuring security, monitoring, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement our cloud-based file transfer platform end to end on AWS Transfer Family.
• Build supporting components with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK) and AWS services.
• Automate onboarding, IAM, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure security and compliance with policies and auditing.
• Maintain reliable operations with monitoring and on-call responsibilities.
• Leverage AI tooling to generate code/tests/docs and review results for go-live readiness.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and platform teams on architecture and roadmap.

Are you excited about setting the technical direction, reviewing AI-generated output critically and taking ownership of what goes live? Every day, Swiss Post exchanges thousands of files with partners, customers and internal systems, and we're moving this backbone to AWS. Salary

We offer a fair salary of between CHF 118’900 and CHF 133’900 per year (100% employment level), depending on experience and skills. Talented people with different skills are also welcome to apply. In such cases your salary may be slightly below or above the range.

How you make a difference.

• You design and implement our cloud-based file transfer platform end to end on AWS Transfer Family, including SFTP, FTPS and AS2.
• In addition, you build the supporting components with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CDK and AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, S3, SQS, EventBridge and DynamoDB.
• You automate partner onboarding, user and key management as well as our CI/CD pipelines.
• At the same time, you build security and compliance into the platform through IAM, encryption, security policies, auditing and logging.
• You ensure reliable operations through monitoring, alerting and structured troubleshooting and take ownership when things go wrong (on call).
• Furthermore, you use AI tooling to generate code, tests and documentation, critically review the results and decide what is ready to go live.
• You share your learnings with the team, help shape how we use AI in engineering and work closely with the Product Owner and platform specialists on architecture and the roadmap.
