Zusammenfassung

Swisscom AG is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD for the TelcoCloud IaaS layer. You will engineer and operate enabler services like identity and access management, secrets, backup, monitoring and high-availability clusters.

You will work across disciplines with teams, contribute to Linux system engineering, automation, and stay aligned with agile practices. Flexible work location is offered in Switzerland or home office.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Git, Python and Bash
• Proficient Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Good networking basics, LDAP and virtualization knowledge.
• Experience with Puppet and Ansible is a plus.
• Good documentation and structured work approach.
• Very good English; German an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement and operate Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD for the TelcoCloud IaaS layer.
• Engineer and run enabler services such as IAM, secrets, backup, monitoring and HA-Cluster.
• Linux system engineering including virtualization, logging and automation.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and operational work.

Your future starts hereIn the TelcoCloud Enabler Services Team, you support the implementation of the “Infrastructure as Code” philosophy for our IT infrastructure, from concept to delivery, and continuously develop our pipeline framework. You work across disciplines with other teams and apply your in-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment. You also support the operation and monitoring of our systems. You are passionate about agile ways of working and take on responsibility and a variety of tasks in a supportive, motivated DevOps team; given the wide range of services, the team often works in pairs on stories to build and share knowledge.
