Swisscom is seeking a software engineer to help develop and operate internal applications across frontend and backend. You will be part of a small agile DevOps team, ensuring maintenance, 3rd level support, and ongoing enhancements while fostering digital transformation and cloud-native approaches.

You will design and develop software for both frontend and backend, contribute to quality and security, and leverage modern cloud technologies. English and French are required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with back-end (.NET, .NET Core) and front-end technologies (Angular or React).
• DevOps workflows and software architecture, plus REST API development.

Together with your team, you will develop internal Swisscom applications. You work on all parts of the application and ensure maintenance, 3rd Level Support and further developments. As part of a small agile DevOps team, you will develop and operate internal Swisscom applications for mobility, room reservations, data storage and collaboration spaces. Working collaboratively with your team, you will ensure that the internal solutions are always up to date and facilitate their digital transformation. You will design and develop software for both frontend and backend, contributing to the quality and security of our systems. By employing innovative technologies and concepts, you aim to enhance the quality of our support and provide exceptional services. With a passion for software engineering and cloud platforms, you'll help elevate Swisscom to the next level.

• Ensure the high quality of services by utilizing modern software architectures and cloud technologies
• Handle operation, 3rd level support, lifecycle management, further development, and monitoring for our applications
• Engage in full stack development and operation, ranging from small applications to entire frameworks, within a self-organized team
• Maintain a passion for the entire software lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and operation.
• Develop cloud-native solutions

Your Skills

• Completed IT apprenticeship specializing in application development or an equivalent qualification
• Experience with both back-end (.NET, .NET Core) and front-end technologies (Angular or React). If you're passionate about frontend development, that's a real plus - we value people who care about creating great user experiences and modern UI design
• Experience in DevOps workflows and software architecture, as well as expertise in relational, non-relational, and in-memory databases, and API development, particularly REST
• Independent and motivated to tackle new challenges, open to feedback, and eager to share knowledge with team members or the entire organization; Knowledge in agile working methods is nice to have
• Good command of English and French; German is a plus.
• Experience with SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Kafka, JavaScript, and ASP.NET are nice to have
