LHH is recruiting on behalf of a client based in Fribourg for a Development Engineer with a strong team mindset and a passion for their work.

The role focuses on leading Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems development, defining specifications, and coordinating testing and validation activities. A Diploma in Engineering and 3–5 years experience in EATS or related hardware is required.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in EATS or exhaust hardware development.
• DEF dosing systems experience is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of exhaust aftertreatment systems and catalyst technologies.
• Knowledge of FMEA and DVP&R methodology.

Aufgaben

• Lead development of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems from requirements through testing and validation.
• Define technical specifications for EATS components and align with project targets.
• Plan and coordinate development and validation activities including tests and calibration.
• Coordinate EATS testing on engine test benches and analyze results to drive troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

As a Development Engineer you lead the development of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (requirements, system design through testing, validation and PPAP). You define technical specifications and requirements for EATS components en ensure their alignment with project targets. Besides, you plan and coordinate development and validation activities (tests plans, prototype, calibration maturity, measurements and resources). Moreover, you coordinate EATS testing on engine test benches, analyses results, drive troubleshooting and problem solving activities. In addition, you manager Design Verification Plan and Reporting activities and support Quality Gates.

You act as the technical reference for EATS suppliers and you contribute to the definition and maintenance of EATS-related software.

Profile

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in EATS, exhaust system or hardware development
• Experience with DEF dosing systems. a plus
• Excellent knowledge of exhaust aftertreatment systems and catalyst technologies
• Good knowledge in EATS simulation (1D/3D with basic CFD knowledge), FMEA and DVPnR methodology
• Knowledge in measurement and data acquisition (CSM, Vector)
