Design Mechanical Engineer — Fuel Cell Systems (On-Site)

Job summary

EH Group is seeking Mechanical Engineers to design components and assemblies for our compact, high power density fuel cell products at our Nyon, Switzerland office. This is a full-time, on-site role with relocation required.

You will produce 3D models, detailed drawings with GD&T, apply DFM/DFA, support prototyping and testing, work with suppliers, and maintain BOMs and PLM records. Fluent English required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of mechanical design experience in a hardware engineering environment, with exposure to fuel cell stacks or related systems.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and GD&T understanding.
• Knowledge of DFM/DFA and common manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, modules and assemblies for fuel cell stacks and systems.
• Produce 3D models, detailed drawings and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Apply design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles.
• Support prototyping, build and validation of designs.
• Work with suppliers on component manufacture and tooling.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings and engineering changes in PLM.
• Collaborate with simulation, test, electrical and process engineering.
