Job-Room in Switzerland is seeking a mechanical engineer to contribute to the modernization of packaging systems. You will join a project team to upgrade sophisticated packaging machines and independently manage customer projects from offer to order.

The role requires a degree in mechanical engineering, several years of experience, and proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred). Fluent German and English are essential for this international collaboration, with the position based in Beringen.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in special machine construction.
• Proficient with 3D CAD programs; SolidWorks experience is advantageous.
• Motivation for complex, technically demanding packaging machines.
• Strong teamwork, customer focus, independence, and initiative.
• Fluent German and English (speaking and writing).

Aufgaben

• Work on modernisation projects of packaging systems as part of a project team.
• Independently handle customer projects from offer to order and tailor technical solutions.
• Research older documentation and verify machine status.
• Implement and design modules for conversions and retrofits using SolidWorks.
• Serve as contact for mechanics of foreign assembly technicians before and during assignments.
• Collaborate with electrical, project management, assembly, and commissioning teams.
