Syntegon Packaging Systems AG in Beringen (SH) is seeking a mechanical engineer to join a project team responsible for modernising packaging systems. You will manage customer projects from the initial offer to final order and tailor solutions to technical requirements, using SolidWorks for conversions and retrofits.

The role requires several years of experience in mechanical engineering, strong 3D CAD skills, and fluent German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in special machine construction.
• Experience with 3D CAD programs; SolidWorks experience ideal.
• Able to handle complex, technically demanding tasks and enthuse about packaging machines.
• Team player with customer orientation, independent, solution-oriented, proactive.
• Passion for mechanical systems; experience with high-performance product handling.
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.

Aufgaben

• Modernisation of sophisticated packaging machines of various vintages as part of a project team.
• Independently manage customer projects from offer to order and find solutions for technical requirements.
• Research older documentation and verify the machine status.
• Implement and design modules and applications for conversions and retrofits using SolidWorks.
• Be the contact person for mechanics for foreign assembly technicians before and during assembly.
• Collaborate closely with electrical (SW/HW), project management, assembly and commissioning teams.
