Flughafen Jobs in Switzerland is seeking a Deputy Nominated Person Ground Operations (100%) to lead and oversee ground operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and safe procedures across the airport network.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of EASA, IATA, ICAO standards, and experience managing ground handling, safety monitoring and operational risk. Occasional travel across stations is expected.

Qualifications

• Practical experience and expertise in aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of EU safety regulations and related procedures.
• Expertise in Passenger Handling, Ramp Handling, Load Control and Cargo Operations.
• Regulatory knowledge (EASA, IOSA, IATA DGR, ICAO) and de‑icing/SAE‑DAQCP.
• Experience as Ground Operations Compliance and Safety Monitoring.
• Auditor experience would be an asset.
• Familiarity with aviation management systems.
• Appropriate management experience in ground operations.
• Proven ability to work under high workload and pressure.
• Willingness to travel across Chair Airlines' station network.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that aircraft operation services comply with ICAO, IATA, EASA and company rules.
• Select and supervise handling agencies at domestic and foreign stations.
• Establish and issue the Ground Operations Manual (GOM) and update OM-A as needed.
• Monitor stations across Chair Airlines' network.
