Cognizant is seeking a Test Automation Specialist focused on Data Testing in Zurich. The 6‑month fixed term role involves building scalable automation for data platforms and pipelines, validating large data sets, and ensuring data quality.

The ideal candidate will design frameworks and collaborate with data engineers and QA teams to deliver reliable data tests. Proficiency in SQL, Python or Java, and experience with CI/CD is required.

Qualifikationen

• Strong understanding of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Data Models.
• Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong SQL and data validation expertise.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test execution.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop automation frameworks for data testing and regression testing.
• Create automated test cases for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Validate data quality using SQL and large-scale datasets.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Analyze and troubleshoot test failures and data quality issues.
