Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Data QA Engineer for a partner company, focused on data quality and testing across web-scraped data and AI-assisted solutions. You will ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability, translating requirements into testable quality standards.

You will apply exploratory and automated testing, with Python, SQL, and modern tools to report results, metrics, and visualizations. You’ll collaborate with managers, developers, and clients in a globally distributed team,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA or data testing roles.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, especially Pandas and notebooks.
• SQL skills in at least one relational DB environment.
• Solid understanding of web tech: HTML, XPath, JSON, HTTP, CSS.
• Experience testing HTTP/REST APIs and validating responses.

Responsibilities

• Translate data extraction and web-scraping requirements into QA criteria and strategies.
• Perform exploratory, manual, and automated testing to ensure data quality.
• Validate extracted datasets against customer specs and identify defects.
• Document defects with reproducible steps and evidence for developers.
• Use statistics and visualizations to assess completeness, accuracy, and drift.
• Prepare quality reports and metrics for internal teams and customers.
• Define test scope, untested areas, and associated risks for projects.
• Collaborate with managers and customers to clarify requirements before QA starts.
• Contribute to test automation framework development and quality tooling improvements.
• Identify and implement QA process enhancements, including browser extensions and UI testing tools.
