Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data infrastructure and analytics pipelines at scale. You will work with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to enable AI-powered insights and reliable data delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics) OR 2+ years of equivalent practical engineering experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience writing production-grade code in Python.
• 2+ years of experience with dimensional data modelling, schema design, and production database operations (e.g., SQL query tuning, MySQL, MongoDB).
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines using big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Presto) and ETL tools (e.g., Airflow).
• Professional experience deploying data architectures within cloud environments, specifically the AWS ecosystem (e.g., S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift, EC2).

• Design, implement, and operate scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to power analytics, ML, and AI platforms.
• Develop reliable, reusable platform capabilities to process large volumes of data efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to translate requirements into secure and production-ready solutions.
• Improve platform reliability, data accessibility, and developer productivity to accelerate product delivery.
