Job summary

Julius Baer seeks a Head Data Office to lead enterprise data governance, quality, and lifecycle management across the organization. You will partner with business, risk, compliance and IT to enable data-driven decision making and regulatory compliance.

You will establish standards, drive data strategy, and build a high-performing team to advance data stewardship and governance culture across the bank.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of experience in data management, governance or related disciplines.
• Deep understanding of private banking/wealth management processes.
• Proven experience establishing enterprise data governance frameworks and data quality programs.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage and master data management.
• Experience with regulatory expectations related to data protection, risk and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the bank’s enterprise data strategy and governance framework.
• Establish clear accountability and stewardship across business domains.
• Set standards, policies, controls and procedures for data lifecycle management.
• Drive data quality and ensure data is fit for purpose.
• Interface with business, risk, compliance, IT and operations on data governance matters.
• Lead implementation and adoption of data management capabilities and reporting.
