Job summary

Haleon in Nyon, Switzerland is offering a Data Engineer Intern position within the Operational Excellence team for 6 months. You will help develop data and digital solutions to improve visibility and decision-making across manufacturing operations.

You will connect and analyze production data, build dashboards and data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions while learning in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Data Engineering, CS, Industrial Eng, Data Science, or related field.
• Interest in data analytics and digital manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Python, SQL, OPC-UA is a plus.
• Curious, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.

Please note that only students currently enrolled in a university and able to provide a valid internship agreement will be considered for this position. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer Intern to join our Nyon site as a key member of the Operational Excellence team. Duration: 6 months

Your Role at Haleon:

• You will support the development of data and digital solutions that improve visibility and decision-making across manufacturing operations.
• You will contribute to industrial digitalization initiatives by connecting, transforming, and analyzing data from production systems.
• You will develop dashboards and data models that help teams monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• You will help accelerate the deployment of innovative technologies supporting Haleon's digital manufacturing journey.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical and scalable data solutions.

What we expect from you:

• You are pursuing a degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• You have an interest in data analytics, data engineering, and digital technologies applied to manufacturing.
• You ideally have knowledge in Power BI, Python, SQL, OPC-UA Protocol
• You enjoy solving complex problems and turning data into actionable insights.
• You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• You communicate effectively and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and functions.
