Amazon Data Services Switzerland GmbH is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician in Switzerland. You will independently troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, and respond to operational issues with minimal supervision to keep critical facilities running.

The role involves on-site management of contractors, supporting rack installation, power/cooling provisioning, and incident/change management while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with electrical or mechanical systems, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure including mechanical, electrical, controls and life safety systems.
• Fluency in English and valid Swiss work permit.

Aufgaben

• On-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring work aligns with practices and local legislation.
• Maintain performance benchmarks and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance.
• Generate Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets as directed.
• Assist with rack installation and provision of power/cooling.
• Participate in construction and operational meetings and review contractual SLAs.
• Interface with Infra Ops teams for day-to-day requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support during events and normal operations.
