Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of OT, ICS or industrial security is a plus.
• Fluent German at C1 and English at B2.

For an internationally operating Swiss company, I am looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer with strong Linux and security infrastructure expertise.

This is a newly created, highly technical position. It is not a monitoring-focused Security Analyst role. You will personally build, configure, operate and improve security solutions.

Your Role

• Take technical ownership of the company's security infrastructure
• Handle security incidents from analysis and containment through to remediation and post-incident review
• Build and operate central security systems such as log servers, SIEM platforms and vulnerability scanners
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across the IT infrastructure
• Coordinate the external Security Operations Center from a technical perspective
• Work closely with the CISO as well as network, infrastructure, engineering and production teams
• Develop technical security concepts and implement new solutions
• Contribute to the further development of OT and industrial security

What You Bring

• At least five years of experience in cyber security engineering, security infrastructure or a comparable technical role
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux server environments
• Proven experience in building and operating security infrastructure
• Practical knowledge of SIEM, log management, vulnerability scanning, authentication systems or EDR
• Experience in security incident response
• Solid understanding of networks, servers, access controls and system hardening
• Knowledge of OT,ICS or industrial security is an advantage
• Fluent German at C1 level and good English skills at B2 level

You do not only identify risks or recommend solutions. You investigate technical problems, configure systems, implement the required measures and remain involved until the solution works reliably.

You will join an established team of six infrastructure and network professionals as its seventh member.
