Helvetica Partners is seeking an IT Security Infrastructure Engineer in the Canton of Bern. The role is hands-on, focusing on analysis, design, implementation and continuous improvement of security solutions at the intersection of IT Security, Infrastructure and OT security.

You will coordinate security incidents with an external SOC, build and operate key security solutions, and work closely with diverse security teams to produce production-ready security controls.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in IT/security infrastructure.
• Proven incident response experience.
• Solid knowledge of Linux server environments.
• Experience with log management and SIEM.
• Knowledge of OT/Industrial Security or strong interest.

Are you an IT Security Engineer who wants to build and implement, not just operate?!

We are VERY actively looking for an experienced IT Security Infrastructure Engineer to join an exciting environment in the Canton of Bern, working at the intersection of IT Security, Infrastructure and Industrial/OT Security.

This is a hands-on engineering role: you will analyse, design, implement and continuously improve security solutions — not simply write concepts or manage existing systems.

What you will do

Analyse, coordinate and follow up on security incidents in close collaboration with an external SOC.

Security Infrastructure:

Build, operate and improve key security solutions such as log management, vulnerability scanners and automated penetration-testing solutions.

Work closely with the CISO, Network, Compute & Storage, Digital Workplace and Industrial Security teams.

Contribute to the design and further development of secure industrial environments.

Turn security requirements into real, working solutions and bring them into production.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in IT / Security Infrastructure


• Strong experience in Security Incident Response


• Solid knowledge of Linux server environments


• Experience with Log Management / SIEM, Authentication and Vulnerability Management


• Knowledge of OT / Industrial Security - or a strong interest in developing in this area


• Strong hands-on mentality and a practical engineering mindset

Please note: proficient German is an essential requirement for this position. Candidates without strong professional German skills will not be considered for this specific role
