U.C. César Ritz Colleges AG is seeking a Culinary Chef Instructor to join our teams in Brig-Glis (VS). You will teach kitchen theory and practical classes, advise on menu preparation, and ensure high-quality food production for students and staff.

Ideal candidates have a degree from a recognized culinary school, 5+ years in the industry, and teaching experience in hospitality education. English fluency is mandatory, French is a plus; position is based in Brig-Glis, canton Valais.

Qualifications

• Degree from a recognized culinary school as a Cook (Professional Certificate or equivalent).
• At least 5 years’ experience in the industry, ideally in renowned restaurants.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in culinary arts.
• Culinary teaching experience within a hospitality school is a strong asset.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) – French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Teach Kitchen theory and practical classes to students according to our standards.
• Advise students on menu preparation and techniques.
• Ensure and provide quality food production for students and staff.
• Elaborate and update course material.
• Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment within the designated section.
• Demonstrate sanitation, cleanliness and security of the kitchen and storerooms to students.
