CERN's Engineering Department invites applications for a Mechanical Engineer in the EN-CV-PJ section. You will coordinate cooling and ventilation projects for installation and upgrades across CERN's facilities, driving feasibility studies, design work, and tender processes.

We seek a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with demonstrated project management and contract management experience. English proficiency is required, and French learning is encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PM/PMI certification would be an asset.

Aufgaben

• Define user requirements with stakeholders.
• Perform feasibility studies and detailed designs of cooling and HVAC systems.
• Write technical reports and notes.
• Draw up technical specifications and manage tender process.
• Follow up and report on project progress; supervise contractors.
• Support operation teams in troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Contribute to internal procedures and standardisation of technical solutions.
