Start date: Early December 2026
We are looking for an experienced Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Implementation Specialist / Business Analyst to support the design and implementation of a CLM solution for a client in Switzerland.
The role sits at the intersection of business requirements, legal processes and technology. The successful candidate should be able to work closely with Legal, Procurement and other business stakeholders, translate their requirements into functional and technical specifications, and support the hands‑on configuration and implementation of the selected CLM platform.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support requirements-gathering workshops with Legal, Procurement and business stakeholders.
- Analyse existing contract management processes, pain points and business requirements.
- Translate business and legal requirements into functional and technical requirements for the CLM solution.
- Design future‑state contract lifecycle processes, workflows and approval structures.
- Support or perform hands‑on configuration of the CLM platform, including for example:
- contract types and templates;
- metadata fields and data structures;
- workflows and approval processes;
- user roles and permissions;
- notifications and escalations;
- dashboards and reporting;
- clause libraries and contract playbooks.
- Work with technical teams on integrations, data migration and solution design.
- Support the mapping and migration of legacy contract data into the new CLM environment.
- Develop user stories, functional specifications, process maps and configuration documentation.
- Coordinate between business stakeholders, technical implementation teams and software vendors.
- Support testing and UAT, including test‑case definition, defect management and validation of configured functionality.
- Support implementation, rollout, training and change‑management activities.
Required experience
Candidates should have:
- Several years of experience in CLM implementation, Legal Technology, Procurement Technology or a comparable Business Analyst role.
- Practical implementation experience with at least one leading CLM platform, ideally:
- Experience with several of these platforms would be a strong advantage.
- Sirion
- Icertis
- Ironclad
- ContractPodAi
- Demonstrable hands‑on configuration experience within a CLM platform rather than purely advisory or project‑management experience.
- Strong experience gathering, structuring and documenting business requirements and translating them into system requirements.
- Experience designing contract workflows, approval processes, metadata structures and related CLM functionality.
- Good understanding of the overall contract lifecycle, from contract request and drafting through negotiation, approval, signature, contract repository, obligation management, amendment and renewal.
- Experience working directly with Legal, Procurement and/or Contract Management functions.
- Experience supporting system testing, UAT and implementation activities.
- Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to communicate effectively between business and technical teams.
Profile
The ideal candidate combines three capabilities:
- Business Analyst: Able to understand stakeholder needs, challenge requirements where appropriate and translate them into clear functional specifications.
- CLM Process Expert: Understands how contract‑management processes work in practice and how they can be standardized and digitized.
- Hands‑on CLM Implementer: Has actually configured CLM platforms and can translate requirements into a functioning system rather than only producing concepts or requirements documents.
Language and location requirements
- English: strong professional proficiency
- Based in Switzerland – mandatory
- Availability for client workshops and on‑site activities in Switzerland as required
Availability
- Start: Expected beginning of December 2026
- Expected to work closely with the client and the wider CLM implementation team throughout the implementation phase.
